What's The Difference Between DLR and Booker?
People expected DLR to leave Free-FM.
Surprising development as Allan Sniffen reports that Chris Booker is joining the morning show on Q102 in Philadelphia. (That's WIOQ for all you home-gamers. Apologies to Jim Cramer.)
Judging on the timing, I would personally take it that Booker wanted the morning show on 92.3. JV and Elvis subbing for DLR aside, maybe Booker knew that he wanted to do morning radio, and now with Opie & Anthony firmly entrenched, he got that opportunity. Granted, it won't be "Booker & Lopez" redux (remember that sewage from "Blink 102.7"?) but it appears he's joining Lisa Paige and Diego and the rest of the morning crew.
Or option 2: He wanted to leave a station with (outside of mornings) no direction. You make the call.
